Nutrition Response Muscle Testing
Your health is a journey, not just a destination.
Did you know…
The body has an innate intelligence for self-healing.
What should you expect with NRT?
The Nutrition Response Testing and other muscle testing procedures are performed standing as well as lying down with your arm extended straight. Our procedure uses a multitude of reflex points that are related to different organs, glands, and tissues. If the tested reflex area on the body is under stress, the Autonomic Nervous System will respond by reducing energy to the extended arm, meaning the arm will weaken and drop. We call this “inhibition” or a weak reflex. When a reflex is not under stress, the Autonomic Nervous System will be able to maintain a “lock”, which is demonstrated by the body maintaining a “strong” arm position.
When performing Nutrition Response Testing, a scan of the body and all of the reflex points are checked for the 5 most common stressors as well as emotional stressors that can cause symptoms of poor health. These 5 stressors include heavy chemical toxicity, hidden food allergies or sensitivities, heavy metal toxicity, immune challenges and scar interferences. When these stressors accumulate in our body over time, they can impair the function of major endocrine glands, metabolic glands and organs that are crucial to our health.
Once the underlying issues are discovered, the next step in Nutrition Response Testing is to see what nutrients your body may be lacking due to the stressor or burden. When your body receives the proper nutrients in the forms of whole food essential minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, and herbs many imbalances in your body come back into balance. Homeopathic remedies may also be used to help remind the body of a healthy blueprint of function. When this happens, symptoms lessen and, in many cases, disappear. Examples of how a burdened or imbalanced body can present are mood swings, anxiety, depression, IBS, obesity, chronic fatigue, low energy, autoimmune disorders, constipation, diarrhea, migraines, poor sleep patterns, chronic ear infections, immune weakness, chronic pain, arthritis, edema, weight loss/gain, high/ low blood pressure, diabetes, excessive hair loss and more.
“All medicine comes down to is this: find out what’s bugging you; get rid of it. Find out what you need; get it. The body does the rest.”
— Dr. Mark Hyman
